... and our story so far
Rico Mexican Kitchen was started up in 2008 by cider-loving Ian from Somerset and
Marcela from (very) sunny Monterrey, Mexico. They went to the pub with friends and
got very excited about the idea that it was about time some fantastically fresh
and authentic Mexican food was made available. Marcela was going to turn 40 and
thought “it’s now or never”! Marcela put her foodie passion, her Mexican hat on
and her love of cookery to good use, force feeding salsas to all and sundry to ask
their opinion- did they like it? And they loved it!!
